Hip, Hip, Hooray for Sand County Service Company. I hate to classify them as a campground ‘cuz they aren’t. They’re a company that has various properties in the Dells area that you can rent on a daily or weekly basis. If you’re heading to Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton area and you want to rent a cabin w/a group they are the #1 people to call!!! They have the best cabins, the friendliest staff and the best rates by far. Words cannot describe how gorgeous their cabins are. I and a group of friends and family had the pleasure of spending June 1-3 at their cabin “Towering Pines” in the Wisconsin Dells area and we were so pleased we reserved another stay for later this year! This place has it all and it’s great if you’re traveling with kids like us (we had 8) It was a little scary being out in the woods but they have places that are a little closer to civilization than we were (10 mi north of downtown Wisconsin Dells is where our cabin was) but it really wasn’t that bad…except in the dark when I swear I saw that damn Smokey the Bear sitting at a campfire. I think they have cabins elsewhere, like Michigan and other parts of Wisconsin. Check them out…you won’t be sorry!!!
Me and the family really enjoyed it. The kids especially had fun at the pool and on the beach. It was all so beautiful.
I loved my stay at the Seth Peterson Cottage and only regret that my brother, who reserved years ago, was unable to experience it. Please contact Brian Cassidy if you have any cancellations in the coming year. It's on his Bucket List!

We had a wonderful family weekend at The Timbers. The unit is quite spacious and quiet at night. That was important to us because of the kids! Only complaint was the queen bed downstairs- it is uncomfortably hard and noisy.

This property is just a short 20-minute drive from the Dells, and the scenic route through the winding country roads made the trip even more enjoyable. I absolutely loved the peaceful countryside views along the way. My family of six had a fantastic time here! We spent evenings in the yard making s’mores and stargazing—it was the perfect getaway. The secluded location offers a lot of privacy and space, which made it ideal for our larger family. The home was well-stocked with cooking utensils, kids' games, and books. We even left behind a few DVDs for future guests since the internet service was spotty for about a day (not a big deal for us—it added to the unplugged charm!). Overall, 10/10. We'll definitely be back!

We enjoyed it, the property was perfect for our family. House was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. It was great having a private pier for fishing. One very minor issue, and it was our fault. We never noticed the shed on the side with the canoe equipment until the morning of check-out. Maybe you could put a little sign inside about it, or put it in the info packet. But overall we had a great time!

We had a great time! Only having 2 showers fpr 14 people was a bit of a challenge and we weren't aware how weedy the lake was so our kids couldn't go swimming. Great fishing though!

Everything was absolutely perfect. We did find a number of broken glass bottles behind the house and cleaned those up before we let the children play. They were in the uncultivated area beyond the mowed lawn so may not have been your responsibility but they would have been dangerous if the children walked that way.

Excellent place for 3-generation family of 13 to stay! EVERYONE was happy with the house. (The 6-year old is ready to come back again!) Something for everyone from the toddlers through the teens and tweens as well as adults. Bedrooms, bathrooms, living and play areas as well as kitchen and dining were wonderful! Outdoor spaces added to the fun.

Multigenerational crew so the need for extra space for the oldsters to go to bed early while the youngsters kick up their heels is so great! I think our fun would have been greater had the weather cooperated but so goes springtime weather!

The neighborhood is nice and quiet but still down the street to all the attractions. There is a well equipped kitchen to make meals. The pool house is nice with a warm pool and hot tub. The check in process is smooth (no contact). The people at Sand County are very helpful and communicative. We will stay again next time we go to the Dells! Our stay at the property was the first of its kind for us. It was my Christmas gift to the family. We needed a quiet getaway. The property we stayed at exceeded our expectations! We came prepared with a tabletop Christmas tree and lights. To our surprise, the home welcomed us already decorated for Christmas, and a beautifully decorated tree! The home was both roomy and cozy enough for 8 full sized people with many personal touches! We hope to make this a yearly tradition.
Very calming location right on Mirror Lake
by Jon RajslLoved the open floor plan, we brought kayaks and left them on the floating dock and they were safe the whole 5 days. Had a one minute padded to be on fabulous Mirror Lake... Loved paddling over to the swim beach, the backwaters to upper Mirrow Lake also saw awesome rock formations! Cabin has a beautiful view, just stunning. The sunsets on the lake made it all worthwhile. George at Sand County is our go to agent, give him a call and book a trip to remember!
