Guest Information

The following information may be helpful in planning your vacation:

  • Linens, a basic supply of towels, hand soap, and bathroom tissue are provided. We suggest you bring your own toiletries, beach and pool towels, dish soap, paper towels, coffee filters and other convenience items.
  • FAX service, firewood, etc. all available at the Sand County Service Company office.
  • We will make golf and restaurant reservations.
  • ALL UNITS ARE NON-SMOKING.

Our office is available for EMERGENCY messages.

  • Daily maid service is available upon request at a reduced rate.
  • After your third stay with us you will automatically be enrolled in our Frequent Guest Club.

Reservation Information

  • Advance reservations are required and may be made by phone, email, web site or in person.
  • Two (2) night minimum on ALL reservations – Three (3) night minimum on holidays.
  • Some homes and cottages are limited to weekly rentals during the summer season.
  • No refunds for early departures.
  • All rates are subject to state and local taxes.
  • Service and Handling Charge $35.00 per unit
  • DAMAGE DEPOSIT WAIVER 
    $25.00 Damage Deposit Waiver per unit. The non-refundable damage deposit waiver will relieve you of costs for all unintentional and incidental damage to the property and its contents.
  • DAMAGE DEPOSIT WAIVER 
    does not cover intentional damage, missing items and excessive cleaning (we will contact you immediately if there is a problem not covered by the waiver).
  • DAMAGE DEPOSIT
    Some homes require a Damage Deposit in the place of the Waiver
  • We routinely do not accept group reservation requests for more than two units.
  • Motors are not allowed on boats provided with cottages. Boats available summer season only.
  • PET POLICY
    In most units pets are strictly forbidden. However, we do now have a growing number of units where pets are welcome. Inquire on availability of these units. No more than two pets allowed per reservation and the Sand County staff must know they are there. A $50 damage waiver will be required when pets are included.
  • Quiet Zone Area. These homes are in quiet residential areas that will not tolerate noise after 10PM.
  • Prices subject to change.

A 50% deposit is required with a reservation request. Deposit refundable if reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to arrival date less a 10% processing fee ($30 minimum).  The balance is due 30 days prior to date of arrival.
Reservations are confirmed by mail or email.

If you are not completely satisfied upon seeing your units, we will make every attempt to find you a satisfactory unit or will refund your deposit less a $30.00 processing fee.

SURVEY: KITCHENS IMPROVE VACATIONS

A recent survey by research group Leger of 1,000 vacationers indicates an impressive 90 percent of respondents who had a kitchen on their last vacation said it improved their vacation experience.

Having a kitchen may be the hidden secret ofa great vacation said Howard Nusbaum, president and CEO of the American Resort Development Association. Whether you prefer to eat together as a family or savor small meals throught the day, in-unit kitchens take away the frustration of coordinating meal time and preference for everyone in your group.

Kitchens area welcome option for families traveling with children, who enjoy cooking, and anyone who wants to save some money. While dining out is a treat, many vacationerslook forward to being able to grab a snack or have a breakfest or lunch at your convenience throughout your stay cuts down on costs and allows time for other activities. It also allows for seperate meal times for children and adults, so adults can enjoy grown up meals and conversation.

Survey respondents shared their tips for making the most of the kitchen on vacation. They recommend bringing go-to recipes. Preparing before vacation reduces stress and everyone have a great time.

"This year we found a fantastic vacation home in Wisconsin Dells through Sand County Service Company. Our entire group were all able to stay at one house named Sand Castle Beach on Lake Delton. This lakefront home was perfect for our group. We had huge campfires at night and the large white sand beach was great for all of us to hang out on. It's located in a great spot on the lakefront with another rental home on one side, which was unoccupied, and a boat rental property on the other side, which was empty at night. There's lots of room for parking and there are two picnic tables and plenty of lawn chairs. It's located in a small bay (which is a no-wake zone) and has privacy fences on both sides of the backyard. We were able to launch our boat right from the end of the driveway. This was a great find and we will certainly be going back next summer!"
