We were delighted when we learned that we received a message that we wouldn't need to travel all the way down to the Dells to pick up a key. Having the address in advance would have been helpful for family travel planning.
A peaceful, private log home. Just built and very well maintained. The kitchen was spacious - great for family meal prep. There were beds everywhere to meet the needs of 4 separate families. The great room even had a tall lit Christmas tree that we enjoyed. The home has a dinning room with a large table that easily accommodated 14 people. The only drawback was that sound carries very well in such a massive, open space. The bedrooms were not soundproof when there were others up playing games, etc.

They were nice to deal with. I would have liked it if they could help provide info on the area of Necedah (such as where to rent a boat, get fishing license, restaurant recommendations, etc.) The driving directions were helpful except they say 7th "Avenue" when it should say "Street". This confused some of my guests.
Wolf Lodge is absolutely AMAZING! We had a family reunion in this lovely log cabin for 1 week. Everyone had a fantastic time. The cabin is very spacious, beautifully decorated and there was plenty of room & beds for everyone. The gourmet kitchen is gorgeous and well stocked. The swing on the front porch & fire pit in the back were really nice features. The arcade games in the basement were a huge hit & great way to unwind & enjoy each others company. The exercise equipment was great too!
The only negative to the property is you can hardly see the lake & there is no access to the lake. If a dock were added and some of the brush were cleared to have a better lake view, this log cabin would be perfect.

Marci was always very helpful when I talked (or emailed) with her. I was originally told that we needed to check-in at your office. When I called and talked to Marci to tell her that we were coming from the Twin Cities and that going to the office would add 90 minutes to our trip, she said that I could mail in the damage deposit. That was appreciated because we were traveling with a 2 year old.
Wolf Lodge is a fantastic property. I left a comment on VRBO. We might return in the future, especially in water access were added. We did not go swimming (at Wilderness Park) because of the algae bloom on the river. I shared with Marci that my father found poison ivy and stinging nettles on the edge of the lawns. She said that would be taken care of. I would hate to hate anyone's vacation to be ruined by coming in contact with either of those plants. Some family members did not difficulty finding the address. It does not show up well on online directions services.
