The Copper House is located in Big Snow country, just 3 minutes from Big Powderhorn and 5 minutes from Indianhead ski resorts. On average this area gets over 200 inches of snow per year with excellent skiing from mid-November until April. Renown ABR ski trails is 10 minutes drive with 50+ spectacular kilometers of cross-country trails, groomed daily. Wolverine Trails with 20K of groomed trails is just a couple of miles. The Copper House is the perfect group location, with 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, and 4 porches. Its in-town location in charming Bessemer makes it convenient for all of your needs. The Bread of Life bakery, two doors away will be very popular with your group. The copper motif is carried throughout the house, accenting the decoration. The retro kitchen is the right place to create a great meal or to just hang out. There is plenty of seating at the antique dining room table. The living room is complete with wood burning fireplace. On warmer days you will enjoy porch sitting on the front porch with swing, glider, ceiling fan and table.

Springs, summers and fall offer a variety of activities, the famous Black River waterfalls are an easy drive, with Lake Superior's Black River Harbor close by. A half hour's drive gets you to the Porcupine Mountains with scenic views of Lake Superior and easy to challenging hiking trails. Nearby lakes offer swimming, fishing and kyacking.

A half day's drive (4 hours from Milwaukee or Minneapolis and 6 from Chicago) makes this destination within range for a long weekend or a week. away.
